One of the strength of Chancery Grove is that it has the whole estate has only one single owner and landlord - Far East Organization.
Far East Organization is the biggest developer and landlord in Singapore. In the case of Chancery Grove, Far East Organization is the developer cum estate landlord.
Most residential estates are owned by multiple owners and while this may add to the diversity of ideas, it can also lead to disunity and at times, discussing continuity of commitment to take care of the surroundings and buildings in the estate. Every year a multi ownership estate is run by a committee made up of owners and can change every other years due as committee members are voted in. Annually, residents may see the management committee members changing.
This cut to the chase, Chancery Grove has been professionally maintained by Far East Organization since it TOP, both at exteriors and interiors. The greeneries in the estate are manured and the distance between opposite units are well spaced compared to the newer cluster house developments.
Being built in the earlier years, Chancery Grove units have their individual private car park located on the ground floor instead of being in the basement for the new cluster houses. The advantages of having car park located on the ground level rather than at the basement is one can come back home straight to the living room instead of having to walk into a usually narrow basement and walk up the stairs every moment one steps back to home. Multiply this trip by the few times one has to make every time one leaves or return home, that's actually quite a chore.
I usually find mature estate attractive in terms of living space and bedroom space. Take a look at Chancery Grove and compare with the newer clusters and you will soon you will agree with me.

Many cluster houses at the Chancery Grove have been renovated and come with renovated paint, kitchen, dishwasher fitted in nicely inside kitchen cabinets, wardrobes in bedrooms, bathrooms, polished or touched up marble/tiles and parquet floorings, right up to details like newer door handles.
This is a big plus factor in choosing a rental house and Chancery Grove certainly deserves a mention in this aspect. Bigger spaces from developments of yesterday with new modern day renovations and appliances is like having the best of both worlds. Modern houses and apartments tend to be more compact compact to older developments.
Certain units at the Chancery Grove come with ceiling fans, bath tubs and showers.
Some interiors of Chancery Grove come with split level separating the living and dining area which is good as it offers privacy and living space to different residents dining or lounging at the same time.
There are basically three floor plans
3 bed room plan comes with a huge basement which part of it can be partitioned for a helper room
